A wine with crystalline purity of Meyer lemon and finger lime droplets. Subtle sparkler flint, pumice stone and creamy sawdust skirting the edges. This envelopes the palate with floral white nectarine flesh, candlewax and talc. A wine that speaks of its sandy loam site, cool growing conditions and also of the faceted angles that Chardonnay can achieve in the Yarra Valley. It is full flavoured but energetic and invigorating, a truly special wine with a very long road ahead of it. If drinking now, go for sweet crab or lobster meat but this will age slowly for another decade or so too.
