Handpicked Sparkling Cuvée NV

Share

A blend of 50% Chardonnay and Pinot Noir made in traditional method, a portion of oaked reserve wines is also added for complexity. Rested on lees for 20 months. Fuzzy peach skin, tangerine sorbet and lemon tart. Breakfast pastries of the most delectable kind. There is significant citrus fruit with subtle hints of tropical frangipani flowers. There is a building framework of slight yeast notes that hover in the almond nougat and raw cashew realms. This is in its prime fruit, focused drinking window and will build in detail over time. A flicker of salt and thirst quenching acidity is unmarred by the decision to keep dosage relatively low, you are left wanting more STAT! What’s even more special is that you can see the distinction of Tamar fruit here. A wine for drinking now, tomorrow and years down the track. Delightful with cheesy bread sticks and lots of giddy conversation.
