Secondly, the frontispiece Stamp label reflects Hardy’s long history in the wine biz, though in this day and age under the Accolade corporate umbrella there’s no specific regional connection to this wine. As such, this is about variety and style, which leans into a richer statement, cream bun to start, peachy fruits rather than much to do with citrus, and a weave of sweet oak spice that has a dash of vanilla in its flavour profile, but not overly oaky in a timber-felling sense, nor too cloying in its fruit sweetness. Designed to please a general viewing audience.
