Hare and the Tortoise Pinot Gris 2023

King Valley Pinot Gris, this has seen whole bunch pressing and fermentation in tank. Deep gold in colour, the nose is offering us stone fruits, a touch of pear and hints of green apples topped by river stones and a chalky backing. Good flavours, intensity, balance and length all to be found here as the wine lifts on the palate, which also sees notes of apricot emerge. Drink this wine over the next two to four years which would work with a wide range of dishes.
