The GSM three-way blend offers the ultimate insurance policy – vintage variation tends to be minimal – and here we get plenty of black fruits and plum alongside some pretty handy lifted spice and cacao. Aromatics are turned up to 10 on the palate led by some gorgeous violets and spices in harmony with fruit, vanillin oak and earth. There’s one final kick of spice to close, and while the length could be longer, there is plenty of drink now appeal.
