Hare’s Chase Maranaga Vigilance Shiraz 2022

Share

A wine with violet and dried potpourri florals. This opens with baked blackberries, Nyon olive savouriness and some terra cotta clay. Fruit is ripe and adds a touch of glamour to the layered oak and earth spices. Thai is what a broad range of drinkers are looking for in a chewy full bodied Shiraz but achieved with longevity and fresh acidity in mind. It’s moreish and very memorable. Pop this on the table at a family gathering with a pot roast and you’ll be the star of the evening. Drink now or cellar for another 5 – 6 years.
