Hare’s Chase The Springer Barossa Valley Shiraz 2022

Share

Combines the best of both drink-now and cellar-for-later worlds with its medium-bodied, youthful display of ripeness and freshness. The lead into the 2022 vintage in the Barossa was dry and moderately warm and, hence, a strong year for Shiraz. Oak influence is kept on the lowdown allowing the fruit to shine in black cherry, plum, black berries and just a gentle dusting of spice. A general earthiness with Aussie bush notes helps lift the palate and give that warm Barossan touch. Medium term ageing will suit this wine.
