Andrew Peace Full Moon Durif 2018

Share

Durif is one of those love or hate it grape varieties. It is a big sucker, with lashings of fruit that are matched up with juicy acidity, and occasionally significant tannins. But no need to worry here as this is as supple a durif as you are ever likely to find.

It is deeply coloured and flavoured with ripe and pure blackberry jam fruits plus a touch of chocolate thrown in too. The palate is generous and fleshy with an intriguing licorice edge that drives through to its supple and pleasant finish. A good old fashioned dry red for everyday drinking.
