Hare’s Chase Vigilance Shiraz Marananga 2022

So much to love here, this is a classic Barossa Valley Shiraz from the excellent subregion of Marananga and the superb vintage of 2022. What is not to love? Purple/maroon, this is plush and generous with black fruits to the fore along with notes of mulberries, spices, chocolate, tobacco leaves, dried herbs and cassis. A most alluring nose before on the palate we see the emergence of coffee beans and charcuterie. Supple and seductive, rich and ripe, this seriously delivers through to fine silky tannins with very good length and a juicy finish. This will drink impressively for at least the next ten to fifteen years.
