Curtis Heritage Grenache 2021

Share

Grenache is right at home in McLaren Vale. The fruit for this wine is harvested at night and fermented over a week, before it was gently pressed into a mix of American and French oak hogsheads. The colour is pale crimson with the nose giving us lovely soft red fruits; strawberries, spices, hints of bay leaves and more. Seamless texture, which is ever so seductive with fine acidity. The palate moves more to notes of bergamot, warm soil and tobacco leaves. This has five to seven years of pleasure ahead of it and it a really good McLaren Vale Grenache.
