Hits the glass with a wham. The herbal interplay is almost off the charts – shades of New Zealand – with striking green bean, asparagus, lantana, lemon and a lively splash of passionfruit. Clean, brisk acidity is the order of the day laying down the groundwork for some lively fruit action to follow. Passionfruit pulp, quince, lemon, gooseberry and herbals mass on the palate. Striking rather than aggressive, the middle palate offers both texture and depth and comes nicely wrapped in bright acidity. Complex, clean, zesty and undeniably a SBS of class.
