Henschke Henry’s Seven 2021

A blend of Shiraz, Grenache, Mataro and a drizzle of Viognier. There’s only been the smallest addition of the highly aromatic white variety Viognier, yet it brings that final touch to the nose that speaks so much of the blend and the region. It’s soft and generous with a chalky thread of tannin that brings structure and definition to the palate. As it breathes, those Viognier aromatics are joined by more spicy dried herb characters. Lovely wine.
