A multi-vintage, mature, Pinot Noir-based sparkling with parcels that have matured for up to 26 years on lees. With lovely poise and subtle complexity, aromas of stone fruits, spring flowers, brioche and grilled almond. Autolysis-derived flavours rise on the palate, rich and generous in almond biscotti and toasty notes with summer stone fruits, fig and dried apricot with creamed honey notes in the background. Acidity remains quite brisk, a good sign, for a sparkling of some age. Closes on a nutty, orange zesty note.
