Henschke Julius Eden Valley Riesling 2020

Share

This is a wine that is archetypal Eden Valley and made for the cellar. It is very pale in colour showcasing its youthful vitality. The fruit is similarly fresh-faced with a pristine style and focus – citrus, floral, bath salts and wet stones all come together in harmony. In the mouth it is acidity that shines through with fruit now a little closed and only its stony elements on show. That acid drives a long and angular finish that needs some time to flesh out but with good balance shows significant ageing potential for the medium term.
