Henschke Peggy’s Hill Eden Valley Riesling 2025

Share

An anniversary vintage celebrating 20 years of Peggy’s Hill. Coincidentally, the maker suggests the ’25 will age for 20-plus years, but those heady floral aromatics matched to an already high drinkability factor means it can be enjoyed sooner, capturing the vitality that is there right now. Florals shine in citrus blossom, spring flowers, acacia with honeysuckle married to plenty of fresh citrus fruits and super bright acidity. There’s also an easy textural flow to the wine that also makes it good drinking now. The lead into the 2025 vintage in the Eden Valley was one of the hottest and driest in living memory, but Peggy’s Hill delivers another strong Henshcke Riesling masterclass.
