Hesketh Ebenezer Barossa Valley Grenache 2018

Share

WINNER of a Winepilot Trophy for the greatest value wines in Australia.

Ebenezer is located in the far northern corner of the Barossa Valley. There are no undulating hills here, just wide plains which are well suited for growing some proper Grenache. Not pretty, sweet Grenache but hearty wines that are full of flavour and with real character.

This is a serious example of Barossan Grenache. It is ripe and open for business with baked earth, dried herb and red cherry jam fruits that are reserved and brooding. It’s then full-bodied and supple with generous fruit that drives a long and satisfying finish. It is made for early drinking but seriously delivers for the price and is great value.
