Mt Bera Wild And Free Pinot Noir 2023

Share

10% whole bunch and fermented in French oak barrels Matured in 20% new French oak barrels for 9 months. Raspberry leaf, wild red cherries and strawberry gum. Gala apple skin meets redcurrant. There is a woodsy herb quality that tells the story of the high altitude site and late harvest. A twig like quirk that makes for alluring drinking. Oak consideration is well suited to the curves of red berries and bright lengthy lines of fresh acidity. A dry white pepper spice on the finish. Excellent value and would be swell with bacon wrapped pork medallions.
