Hewitson Monopole Mother Vine Shiraz 2021

Plum, plum and more plum, think compote, pudding and pie with added fresh black plum profile to add lift. The deepest ruby colour with concentration and density on the palate. The full body is enveloped in a fine chalky grip that drifts across the palate. A lick of pepper on the finish is a nice surprise with black and white peppercorns adding some zip while the savoury bitter coffee grounds cut nicely through the fruit. French oak structure fills the mouth with savoury exotic spice and bite. Screaming with intensity from start to finish.
