Significantly shorter time in oak has made for a bright and fresher wine out of the blocks, showing graphite and blackcurrant aromas with a faint touch of crushed leaves. Then dry, sturdy and firm, there is excellent purity of fruit wrapped up in a rich sea of tannins, with Pauillac drive. Youthful vibrancy yet with maturity and confidence that will offer plenty with time in the cellar.
