If it’s been a while between drinks for venturing into Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc – as it has been for me – now would be a good time to become reacquainted. The 2025 vintage was pain free and delivered some super fresh herbaceous Savvies ripe for immediate drinking. Herbal aromas to the fore – concentrated and intense – in grass, snow pea, grapefruit, citrus, apple with spring blossom aromatics. It’s classic stuff. The palate delivers what the aromas promise with a wine forthright, bright and sporting an easy textural flow. Quintessentially Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, especially that core of zesty acidity that lights up the fruit. Early drinking enjoyment assured.
