Hewitson Ned & Henry’s Shiraz 2020

Share

Another juicy classic from Dean Hewitson: Ned & Henry’s Shiraz, named after Dean’s sons, is from Barossa Valley vines with an average age of 30 years. It’s chock-full of ripe blackcurrant flavours and is incredibly inviting, with violet and lilac notes and a sprinkle of black pepper. On the palate the wine is silky smooth: textural, creamy goodness – and almost slips off the tongue by itself, followed by a little sensible tannin. Would be most excellent with Chinese braised beef short ribs.
