A blend of the finest vineyards that Hewitson can access, providing small and intense crops from a stellar vintage. Medium deep purple colour. Lifted choc/mocha and rosewater, plum sauce richness and sweet, yet earthy rhubarb crumble. Medium full body that still gives a palate filling presence . The ripe flavours are upfront, cheeky and jostling for prime position: Red apple, rhubarb, cherry and bright red plum with sweet spice and grippy tannins that pull and pluck. The finish is reined in and pulled taut to a fine focal point.
