A first rate cool climate Shiraz from this very good season in the Yarra Valley. Dark plum and spicy black berry with a trace of espresso and black pepper. The palate is controlled and concentrated but with an effortlessness that extends to its sustained finish. A little dark chocolate and dusting of dried earthy complete a cracking wine.
