Peter Lehmann Barossan X Daring Shiraz 2022

Share

Shiraz with a twist of Montepulcaino which is immediately obvious in its inky magenta hues. Matured in a mix of French and American new and seasoned Hogsheads for 6 months. Black fruited core of figs, blackcurrant potting soil and clove studs. Prune plums and bitter cocoa nib. Acidity is uplifting and makes for a slurpy thirst quenching drink. Tannins are gentle and relaxed and the wine finishes bright and earthy. Drink now a fitting match for sausage rolls and homemade relish.
