You might first remark on the glistening pink hues of this vintage in the glass, either that or the pretty florals that waft from the glass. Rose bud and Peonies. This wine is all about its purity of red fruit and delicate handling to make for a fresh and early drinking style, that is achieved in spades. It tastes of red currants on the vine and cranberries, with some autumnal leafy notes far off in the background. There is a powdery white pepper grip and a middle line of strawberry cream. A wonderful way to sip and swirl whilst keeping optimistic about life. Try this with pork and fennel sausage rolls on the steps to your garden. Drink now.
