Howard Park Flint Rock Shiraz 2022

The fruit for Flint Rock Shiraz comes from Western Australia’s Great Southern sub-region, Frankland River. The cooler climate has resulted in an intoxicating floral lift of violets and a hint of red roses. Maturation in older French oak allows the pristine fruit to shine through – there’s cherries, plums and blackberries – against a background of dried bay leaves and granite. Medium bodied with a supple, silky mouthfeel, balanced alcohol, and ripe round tannins; this is a bright and enticing food-friendly Shiraz.
