Meredith Grampians New Tricks Grenache 2024

Despite this being the cheaper Grenache, I actually enjoyed it slightly more, as it’s just brimming with life and youthful vitality. The nose bursts with gorgeous raspberry, strawberry and red cherry aromas, aided by a touch of spice and some pretty violets. The palate is beautiful and bright, with oodles of acid and a real presence in the mouth, and there’s very little tannin or high alcohol to drag things down, as the wine just screams fun. I didn’t try it with any food as I was enjoying drinking it by itself so much.
