Howard Park Jeté Premier Brut NV

This vinous non-vintage sparkling blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier is surprisingly serious although a little backward with a strong Chardonnay core of fruit thanks to nectarine and honeydew aromas with a deep-set nutty backbone lifted by toasty complexity. A creamy mouthfeel and generous volume of flavour delivers power while retaining subtlety over a composed and lengthy finish accented by spicy oak. In its shell and needs a couple of years to flower.
