Howard Park Scottsdale Cabernet Sauvignon 2024

Share

It smells like a classic Cabernet –  but with a smidge more bright fruit, elegant florals and whimsy than expected. Plenty of raspberry compote, pencil shavings and blackberry jubes, all characters that are very welcome in my glass. In the mouth, it’s much the same, more about line and elegance than boldness or artefact. Medium-bodied, with grainy, firm tannins and just-ripe plummy fruit. Gum nuts and bay leaf sit underneath, adding intellect and typicity.
