Ivyburn Aldersey Shiraz 2021

The vines used here grow in the Willunga sub-region of McLaren Vale. The colour here is a mix of blue/black/purple hues. The nose gives us notes of spices, chocolate, florals and licorice. Quite a refined style, but rather generous as well. Flavours of plums appear on the palate, which is pleasingly supple. A wine of medium length with fine, sleek tannins and a gentle fade to enjoy over the next five to six years.
