Ivyburn First Minister McLaren Vale Shiraz 2022

From a really exciting vintage for the McLaren Vale region, the colour here is a dark mauve. The first impression from a most alluring nose is freshly baked blueberry pie and absolutely delicious it is. Support is provided by notes of florals, chocolate, dried herbs, black fruits and aniseed. Very good intensity here, the texture is supple and seductive. Quite cushiony tannins, good focus and a wine with some serious extension which should drink very well for at least the next eight to twelve years.
