Jansz Pontos Hills Vintage Cuvée 2017

Share

To celebrate the opening of the Pontos Hills winery in the Coal River Valley, Jansz have launched a new Cuvée and it is quite different from other Jansz releases thanks to its crystalline purity, no doubt thanks to the influence of fruit grown near the winery in Southern Tasmania. It’s a classic blend of chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot meunier bursting with white peach, floral and honeyed aromas with an almost saline edge. There is then a core of concentrated fruits, more doughy and brioche flavoured before a tangy, long and silky finish. There is also delicious underlying vitality that only adds to the experience. A super wine and great price too.
