Jim Barry Benbournie Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Share

A wine with deep colour and a perfume of Rosella, tulip and boysenberries. The wine is packed with black plum and some thorny herbs and pine thistle. Tannins are woven like silk, covering every inch of your palate and extending the flavour of red and black berried fruit. Mocha and pomegranate molasses, red gum bark and clay soils. This is intensely flavoured, moreish and satisfying at every turn. A wine that has held its pedigree over time in bottle and is impressive with its richness but quite agile and bright with vivid fruit weight and freshness, this still has another decade ahead of it. If you decide to indulge now, this would be spectacular with grass fed scotch fillet and peppercorn sauce.
