A wonderful example of shiraz from old vines and in recent years there appears to be a definite aim to lighten these wines without compromising flavour and intensity. This is more medium bodied and so, so elegant and poised. Perfumed red berry fruits with a little cedary oak influence are followed by a palate that is finely crafted with juicy red berry fruits. There is also a slightly savoury peppery finish that seems to fit perfectly into the complete picture of this excellent wine.
