This 2024 Smart Vineyard Grenache, from 1955 plantings has marked purity and focus as it radiates with cherry compote and red licorice aromas accented by earthy and slatey complexity. Intense and packed with flavour in a linear and tightly bound package, with cherry cola and dried lavender nuances. Firm chewy/rocky tannins with vibrant, youthful fruit, pinpoint balance and a long sustained finish have set this wine up to flower beautifully over the next decade at least. Epic value.
