Kaesler Love Child Viognier 2024

A snap of dry twig and just ripe white peach. This has some Freesia and honeysuckle that sits high amongst its fleshy orchard fruit. Its palate manages to lean into its luxurious oily texture whilst walking a tightrope, each step careful to harness all possible acidity. Some pithy pomelo on the finish. It makes for a wine that screams to drink me with a juicy pork medallion with root vegetables and white gravy. If you don’t typically drink Viognier, then taste this with almost any white meat main course and think again. Beautifully balanced.
