Cabernet Sauvignon fruit is sourced from Glenhope in Macedon Ranges and matured in French oak for 4 months. There is a real presence of fragrant nursery flowers here. Tea rose, Freesia and lavender. Redcurrants, strawberry jam and vanilla icing. Peach iced tea and cantaloupe. The wine is dry with assertive structure, showcasing the Cabernet variety. A wash of lengthy acidity and clean pink lady apple finish. Drinking well now and could handle white meats like pork loin or roast chicken.
