The inimitable style of Margaret River and its number one white grape variety is right here. And, boy, does it sing. With two of the region’s top winemakers behind it, it shows real class, launching seamlessly into a Chardonnay of lifted aromas, concentrated fruit and textural allure. All manner of citrus – lemon, lime, grapefruit – join with summer stone fruits to ignite the aroma. The palate is a smooth and flavoursome mouthful of white peach and citrus flavours, with nougat and almond meal. Taut and brisk, it is starting to reveal a lovely background nuttiness and texture which allows the pristine fruit to really sing. Keeps quite a fast pace as it moves across the palate.
