A breezy little wine, full of Frankland River power. Lime skin, pomelo and chalk – this region produces such a bounty of flavour. In the mouth, it coats the palate, yet drives through it, just as a good Riesling should. Mandarin pith, tonic water and orange blossom follow. The texture is almost indulgent – potentially from the eight months on lees in a stainless steel tank. Drink ice-cold as your first glass of the night, or pair it with a grilled peach and stracciatella salad.
