Langmeil Massimo Primitivo Montepulciano 2020

Aromas of blueberries and the mulberries of the ripest form promise so much opulence. True to form the palate does deliver those ripe fruits but with the added element of cooler spices like cloves studs, star anise, and black peppercorns. The juicy almost sweet fruit in the Primitivo lends well to Montepulciano’s hints of herbs and a more moderate body. A wine built for main courses like Venison stew or ideally Moroccan Pigeon Pastilla with almond couscous and dates. OOft!
