Leasingham Classic Clare Riesling 2017

I feel truly humbled by this museum release. What a joy… to let it stretch its legs before quietly lying back down again. Ripe pomelo, salty peaches, and macadamia meal. It deserves to be enjoyed in the company of people who actually understand old wine. No brats allowed at the table. The acid? Vibrant, yet utterly resolved. A whisper of white pepper and coastal succulents betrays the vintage. Romantic, composed, and quietly confident. It leaves you with mandarin pith, lemon butter, and toasted oats – showing off both the fruit’s purity and the passage of time. Drink it with honour. Or don’t drink it at all. Cellar Release.
