Leconfield Shiraz 2022

Share

A ripe, warm-hearted young Shiraz displaying not only some attractive fruit but also well-tuned oak treatment.  The sweet, toasty oak contribution is noted and while it is not a silent partner it is partnered with lively black and red fruits which are more than capable of meeting the oak’s match. Shiraz fruit doesn’t blink as it brings its own share of spice, chocolate, anise, sage and generous earthiness with a touch of leather to the glass. Clean and bright acidity flows through to a brisk, dry finish. Set to age reliably for the medium term or more.
