Detailed, salty and electric. Good luck finding a better Australian Pinot Blanc. This one’s pretty damn delicious. Kaffir lime leaf, lemon pith and sweet green melon. In its totality, the wine is less about fruit and more about architecture. The acid is forthright and mean. Excellent if you want to stay alert. The palate is generous and textural, with a sherbety mid-palate and a pinch of roasted coriander seed on the finish. Best enjoyed with Albany rock oysters.
