Lethbridge Pinot Gris 2021

Share

For this wine the Lethbridge team have travelled away from their home in Geelong down to the much cooler region of Henty for fruit to craft a deliciously exotic pinot gris. It opens with a beautiful pale salmon pink colour, thanks to plenty of skin contact, and then draws you in further with its enticing crab apple, white strawberry and musky aromas plus a touch of coriander seed in the background. What follows is a bright and fresh palate yet also has a rich mouthfeel – fruits are more savoury and earthy but that high acid line is the key ingredient. There’s a nice grip too as it meanders to a long and fine finish. Seriously delicious.
