Deep red in hue, it is red fruits which are to the fore here. Cranberries, cherries, red apples, raspberries and a pleasing touch of cherry pie. There is focus, direction and fine balance, with a lingering finish. Satiny and very fine tannins, juicy acidity and good intensity for the full journey. There is more elegance here than is found in many of its contemporaries. Enjoy over the next eight to ten years.
