Henschke George 5th Grenache 2024

Share

A joy to drink! Grenache off 80-year-old Barossa bush vines and it’s right in the G-zone: inviting, upfront with a charming down-to-the-ground honesty. Matured in seasoned French (75%) and American oak (25%) and delivering flavours abundant in ripe plum and black fruits with a raspberry brightness, highlighted and enhanced by the most generous of spices. Hits the high points in a supple, highly drinkable way with fruit leading from the front, but don’t be deceived, it’s got age-ability. Delicious!
