Lyons Will Chardonnay 2024

This is a marvellously complex and engaging Chardonnay. It was partially whole bunch pressed and then barrel fermented with full malolactic fermentation before 9 months in a mix of 20% new and the rest older French oak. Has a complex savoury creamy stone fruit aroma, while the palate reveals depth and layered complexity. A subtle minerality and struck match complexity adds the final flourish to a first-rate Chardie from the Macedon Ranges.
