These vines in the Swan valley are seriously old. And they contribute immensely to the soft plush style that is both varietal and regional. It’s medium weight and exhibits those wonderful perfumes and spices that are what this pinot-like variety is all about. Soft palate with fine tannins and understated oak. Dry savoury with slightly iron filings character on the finish.
