Marchand & Burch Chardonnay 2025

Share

This comes from the Mount Barrow vineyard, sitting at 380 metres on the eastern edge of Mount Barker, where the cool climate allows for Chardonnay to take on a finer, more linear expression. Delicate white flowers, sweet lemon, wet stones and paperbark. The acidity is integrated and refreshing. It feels young, but it’s still easy. Pencil shavings, chalk, root vegetables and sunflowers shape the savoury palate. It’s all sewn together nicely, finishing like a stream of fresh water – clean, cool and flowing.
