Grapefruit, nectarine, preserved lemon, poached pear and ripe apple aromas meld nicely with some spicy cedar oak, a touch of nougat and some subtle flint. Some air unlocks pops of cinnamon spice, saline, and dough notes, too. A lovely bite of fresh-fruit led intensity to the palate, which mirrors the notes within a lovely buoyant texture. Good saline acidity here, which carries the apple notes to a nice long fresh finish. A lovely wine, balancing complexity and freshness to a tee.
